Training operations in Taliarte, Gran Canaria, have been in place since 1994 serving the Canary Islands port professionals for their Maritime training needs. In 2015 the business evolved into the Stier Training Centre – Canary Islands’ first private facility to offer OPITO, GWO and STCW certifications to local and international clients. In 2025 the business came under new ownership, now known as Stier Training Services, with our ambition to spread our reach to many more international clients and partners.
