GWO Sea Survival provides the skills and knowledge to travel safely to and from offshore wind installations.
This training is designed to ensure delegates understand survival procedures when working in and on wind turbines, with particular emphasis on travelling to and from offshore installations, and safely transferring between vessels and installations.
The course provides delegates with the basic skills and knowledge to act in a preventative way from when they stand on the quay by departure until they have returned safely. This includes using possible aids, rescue equipment and methods.
In order to complete GWO Sea Survival course, delegates must be WINDA registered before arriving for the course.
The GWO Sea Survival course is a comprehensive programme designed to prepare personnel who work in the wind sector for sea survival. GWO Sea Survival course provides a thorough training in the techniques and procedures necessary for survival in the event of an offshore emergency.
