It is designed to provide participants with a solid foundation in safety and critical skills for working on wind farms. GWO Working at Height module is to enable the participants, through theoretical and practical training, to use basic personal protective equipment, work safety at height and perform comprehensive basic rescue from height in a remote wind turbine environment. This course is not designed to test the participants’ capability and aptitude for working at height, i.e. It is not a test for fear of heights.
In order to complete GWO Working at Height course, delegates must be WINDA registered before arriving for the course.
A GWO Working at Height course provides the skills and knowledge to work in a safe manner in the wind industry.
This training is designed to meet emergency response training requirements for personnel new to the industry.

The course is a mix of both practical and theoretical sessions during which delegates will be required to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the course contents.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a GWO Working at Height certificate, valid for two years and recognized globally in the wind energy sector.
